Is this a guided tour?
No, a map and instruction of the machines will be given.

Where do we go with the rentals?
After checking in at our office, you will depart with the machines from across the street. ​Our Side-by-Side rentals let you explore 15 miles of rugged trails, high ridges, and open country on Buck Ridge, at your own pace.

Can we ride off trail?​
No, all machines must stay on the trail.
​
Do I need a driver’s license?
Drivers must have a valid driver’s license.
​
Is there an age requirement?
Drivers must be at least 16 years old. Passengers must be 6 years old and at least 48 inches tall to insure the seatbelt works properly.
Someone in the group must be 21 years old and going on the tour to rent any machines.

Do I need experience to drive a UTV?
No experience is required. We provide a safety briefing and driving instructions before the tour.

What happens if the weather is bad?
Tours run in most weather conditions. Severe weather may cause delays, rescheduling, or cancellations for safety.

What should I wear?
Closed-toe shoes are required. Dress for the weather and expect to get dusty or muddy. You are climbing up to 9,000+ ft in elevation, it can be significantly colder on top of the ridge.

Do you provide helmets or safety gear?
Yes, we provide helmets and goggles.
​
Can I bring a backpack or camera?
Small personal items are allowed. Cameras and phones should be secured at all times. Backpacks can be placed in-between the passengers feet.

How many people fit in one Side by Side?
Each side by side holds 2 people.
Our bigger machines may fit up to 6 people.

What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations must be made 7 days in advance. Within 7 days of your reservation it is a 50% charge. Same-day cancellations are 100% charge.

Can I participate if I’m pregnant or have back/neck issues?
Pregnant women are not allowed. This activity is not recommended for guests who have back or neck problems due to rough trails.​
​
What happens if I damage the side by side?
Drivers are financially responsible for damage caused by negligence or reckless driving, hitting trees, rocks etc.
​
Is there a damage deposit?
A credit card is required at check-in to hold for damages.
​
Can we bring food or drinks?
Water is recommended. Alcohol is strictly prohibited before or during the tour.

Are restrooms available?
Restrooms are available at our office before the tour begins. There are no buildings along the trail.
